Filets bleu festival 2024
Five unmissable days in the heart of summer in Concarneau
The "Fête des Filets bleus" is an important part of Concarneau's heritage, having been part of the town's maritime history since 1905.
It is one of the oldest traditional Breton festivals.
It showcases Breton culture through music, dance, shows, workshops and events.
The Filets bleu festival offers five days of free open-air concerts from 7 to 11 August on Quai Carnot, opposite the ramparts of the walled city, 200 m from the Hôtel de France et d'Europe. There will also be the election of the Queen 2024 and the grand parade on Sunday, with food and drink available on site.
It's also an opportunity for young and old alike to take part in events and discover the fishing industry and its trades, local fish and shellfish species, seaweed, gastronomy, marine biology, the weather and sea rescue.
